As the lead Commissioner on transmission issues at the California Public Utilities Commission, she has overseen the permitting of several significant transmission lines to deliver renewable energy to California load centers. Commissioner Grueneich also serves as lead Commissioner on energy efficiency, overseeing energy efficiency programs delivered by the California investor-owned utilities.
