Cristina Archer

Cristina L. Archer is an assistant professor of energy, meteorology, and environmental science in the Department of Geological and Environmental Science of California State University Chico, as well as a consulting assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. Her research interests include wind power, meteorology, air quality, climate change, and numerical modeling. She received her Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 2004. She worked there as a post-doctoral researcher for one year and as an atmospheric modeler in the air quality district of San Francisco for two years. She then worked at the Carnegie Institution for Science in 2007 as a research associate for a year before joining California State University Chico in 2008.
