Judith Iklé is a Program Manager in the Procurement, Renewables and Climate Strategy Branch of the Energy Division at the California Public Utilities Commission. This branch includes electric procurement and resource adequacy, the Renewable Portfolio Standards program, distributed generation, and the California Solar Initiative. Prior to this position, she served as Supervisor of the Federal Electric Section and as a Senior Analyst on the environmental review team. Before joining the Commission, Ms. Iklé was a policy analyst with the U.S. EPA in the Climate Policy & Programs Division. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from McGill University and a Master’s in Environmental Management from Duke University.

Update: Our Work for the Breakthrough Institute's Inaugural Conference

This is just a quick update to let everybody know about what the Next Agenda team has been doing. We spent a lot of the summer working with the Breakthrough Institute, covering their inaugural Breakthrough Dialogue conference, "Modernizing Liberalism." The conference, which was put on in conjunction with launch of a new journal, brought together dozens of top thinkers from a range of disciplines to figure out new ideas that could adapt liberalism to today's realities.
