Kathi couples her knowledge of fine arts and communication design with a drive to stimulate positive change in the world. Originally from the south, she collaborated with like-minded progressive artists and designers at the Savannah College of Art and Design and subsequently found her home at Free Range Studios. Kathi has been an advocate for an array of issues ranging from healthy/active living and promoting access to local and organic foods, to human and civil rights causes. She continues to develop and maintain solid client relationships while creating innovative print and web materials for clients such as Amnesty International, the ACLU, USA for UNHCR, and the National Alliance to End Homelessness. Outside the studio, Kathi can be found at her local farmers market, mountain biking, painting, or sipping a good, strong macchiato, camera at her side.

The conference, which was put on in conjunction with launch of a new journal, brought together dozens of top thinkers from a range of disciplines to figure out new ideas that could adapt liberalism to today's realities.
