Louis's artistic sensibility, sense of humor, and commitment to effecting positive change helped to establish Free Range as a top-notch, paradigm-shifting communications firm. Writing and directing many of the company's numerous animation and video productions, including The Meatrix (themeatrix.com), has earned Louis top honors at film festivals and awards ceremonies around the globe, including South By Southwest, Media That Matters, The Holland Animation Festival, The Webby Awards, Resfest, and the Annecy International Animation Festival. A filmmaker by training, Louis's innate sense of storytelling and ability to translate complex messages into entertaining media has motivated millions of web users to take actions that better the world. In addition to directing, Louis also enjoys providing the voices for many of Free Range's beloved animated characters.
This is just a quick update to let everybody know about what the Next Agenda team has been doing. We spent a lot of the summer working with the Breakthrough Institute, covering their inaugural Breakthrough Dialogue conference, "Modernizing Liberalism." The conference, which was put on in conjunction with launch of a new journal, brought together dozens of top thinkers from a range of disciplines to figure out new ideas that could adapt liberalism to today's realities.
