Our Best Projects
Next Agenda has worked with a wide range of organizations to help solve their big, pressing challenges. The organizations we have worked with range from a think tank dedicated to rethinking the politics of liberalism to a corporation who wanted to involve their employees in the decision making of the company's top executives. Through the use of immersive video coverage of gatherings, intellectual interviews, and innovative web and video tools, Next Agenda has helped these organizations understand and then tackle their biggest web and collaboration challenges. See below for samples of our best work.
Breakthrough Institute
The Breakthrough Institute (BTI) is a forward-thinking organization that has done a lot of work in rethinking environmentalism. For their inaugural conference on "Modernizing Liberalism," they brought together dozens of diverse experts to try to rethink liberalism for the 21st century. Besides immersively covering the conference, Next Agenda also did in-depth side interviews and used an innovative graphical approach to standup interviews. Watch this quick trailer to get a sense of the Breakthrough Institute, its mission, and the conference itself.

Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET)
The Institute for New Economic Thinking is a George Soros-founded organization that is seeking to reform thinking within economics. To promote this mission, the institute brought together dozens of heterodox economists from all over the world to discuss how a new economic paradigm could work to rectify the structural problems laid bare by the Financial Crisis of 2008. Next Agenda worked closely with INET, not only covering their events but also developing the institute's web presence and new collaborative platforms. Watch this trailer for more on INET and their mission.
Civic Ventures
Civic Ventures is a think tank dedicated to helping boomers use their skills to launch new careers in socially fulfilling organizations. For this project, Next Agenda produced a series of video features around a conference Civic Ventures held to launch a movement on "Encore Careers." We worked closely with Civic Ventures during and after the conference to produce a range of compelling documentaries and interviews that the organization could use to broadcast their message through the web and build a movement. This documentary lays out the main ideas behind "Encore Careers," using sections from a variety of deep interviews that we did at the conference, combined with compelling imagery.

Sogeti: A Multinational Organization
Sogeti is a multinational corporation that implements IT solutions to organizations around the world. The company has a strong commitment to making its organization transparent to its employees, and encourages open, intra-company dialogue that can spur new ways of doing things. Next Agenda helped Sogeti with this mission, when we covered a meeting of the company's top executives, and then made video for the meeting available to employees online. Watch the conference trailer for more information about the organization.

Clean Energy Challenge
The Clean Energy Challenge was initiated when Next Agenda brought together dozens of leading experts and thinkers to figure out ways that America could adopt clean energy solutions as fast as possible. The event encouraged many new insights, spurring thinkers to consider new ideas and new lines of thinking. You can watch this glimpse of the event from this trailer video to get a sense of the organization and the event.

Our work with the George Soros-founded nonprofit organization Institute for New Economic Thinking showcases the two core offerings that Next Agenda can help anyone with. We produced a very sophisticated and elaborate video selection, and we also have helped this organization both initiate and evolve their online collaboration as they build a global community around changing the nature of modern economics.

We help companies connect their leaders and core teams with the broader range of their stakeholders, from employees scattered across the world to their customers and the public at large. For this project, we worked with a global corporation based in Europe that wanted an annual meeting of their 300 top executives to be opened up to all 20,000 of their employees scattered around the world. The video we shot was designed to elicit these employees' genuine feedback and insights to their long-term strategic plan.
